So I’ve purchased recently a pair of wipers made by Michelin that they sell at Costco. They’re around $11 each and they come with removable clips that you can modify to have them fit different in types of blade arms. I notice your profile is from Canada so I don’t know if your Costcos carry them but for the price I can’t complain. They’re not amazing but they do their thing.

I bought these at Costco the other day to replace the stock ones. They didn't come with the correct clip for our narrow PTB wipers. My guess is because these wipers are a Costco only product and its to cut down on cost. However, the instruction manual said how to install them for narrow PTB wipers but like I said the clip needed didn't come with. Maybe its supposed to be and ended up buying a bad batch but either way I returned them the next day.

I ended up buying some rain x ones that work but don't fit perfect. The washer fluid sprayer stops them from fitting perfect. The oem wiper blades were destroyed after using them on a little but of ice and snow one morning.

Wipers were the first thing I changed. I like the Rain-X brand their universal. I like a lot of Rain-X products. Something quite satisfying about a windshield coated in it. Just watching the beads of water roll away. They are a bit pricey but in my opinion well worth it. I can tell immediately if a car doesn't have a set of them on in adverse conditions.

trico ultra 13190/13240 (extended life, beam style) or trico silicone-ceramic 90190/90240. the silcone-ceramics are the top of the line in Trico's lineup. the OEM's are not great. bosch makes good stuff too but don't see any on rockauto. everyone seems to say silicone blades are the best. i will probably go with the silicone-ceramics when i replace mine.

I don't always have trouble seeing out the windshield even in sunny weather but when I do >> It's a rough neighborhood at least the guys got a hero.🫡 Nothing but respect he ain't afraid of work.

Just to add to this, I just changed my wipers out with the Rain-X Latitudes. Got them from Advance Auto. 24” driver side part number is 5079280-2 and the 19” passenger side is 5079276-2. When installing, make sure you follow the installation instructions for the Narrow PTB arm (you’ll pretty much end up removing all the extra bits off of it lol). Hope this helps somebody!

That's similar to what I use It made a really big difference. This was for our Civic sport hatch. View attachment 18844
Hey I know its been a while since you posted this, but how did you fit the "AdvantEdges" on the civic? I've got a Canadian touring sedan. Got these after reading your post (because I only want to use Silicon blades) but did not fit. :-/

I have a 2023 Touring Sedan, I have driven mostly Civics since the 80's, always used the replacement inserts in factory blades, never answering problem. Both our Hondas now have the newer system where the whole blades has to be replaced. They usually last a year or more. One difference is, for at least 15 years, I've used Rain-X 2-in-1 washer fluid exclusively. I drain the blue stuff when I get home with a new car and replace it with The Rain-X. Has worked exceptionally well, blades seem to last longer and run quieter. No fitment issues and dealer gives me 20% off.
