27k USD yes. It’s very hard to compare cars in the US to those in Europe price wise, not even factoring in currency exchange rates. The civic in Europe is not as entry level of a vehicle as it is in the states, and you guys also only get the hybrid as far as I know which does cost more because it has more tech. I won’t argue for or against the base stereo quality but all of the previously mentioned complaints were (or should have been) obvious prior to buying the vehicle, I wouldn’t order a cheeseburger and then complain about how I don’t like cheese.. People having issues with sticky steering or leaking hatches or dash rattles were probably not aware of these issues prior to purchase especially if they bought early and should be complaining
Hey nice guy, you can reply to me directly 🥱 Try to research sound system quality prior to purchasing a Vehicle! You’ll find mixed results! For someone it’s enough and for someone it is not…same goes for the bose! light in a Visor mirror? Who researches that? I’m sure you always research “Ok google, does the 2023 Civic have lights in the Visor mirrors” that also should be expected in todays day and age. When it comes to heated mirrors, that should be Standard on any car that has electrically adjustable mirrors!
Assuming I didn’t do my research is just plain disrespectful and rubbed me the wrong way! after-all Ive been driving 11th gen civics since release!

I mean there’s dozens of walkthrough videos on YouTube through various trim levels (specifically Raiti’s Rides, Tedward, The Topher, Daily Motor), and there were plenty of cars on dealer lots (marked up and sitting unsold) where I was able to go and poke around and drive a sport touring before I ordered mine somewhere else. We did the same thing for my wife’s CRV and my mom’s HRV so there were no surprises about features or functionality or “oh actually I don’t like the seating position” etc. what we didn’t do is assume. There’s also this:

Having the Bose in my car I can tell you the base stereo in the previously mentioned CRV and HRV don’t sound as good, but are both far from bad. I’m no audiophile but someone who is would know better than to expect anything beyond just acceptable from a base model stereo in a $27k car

Whenever i purchased my touring there was not much info out there, so i did go to my local dealership and checked one out. I liked everything about it! Fast forward to two years later, i picked up my Sport rather sight unseen however i did do my research in regards to features and sound system quality and knew what i would miss out on in comparison to the touring trim. However as mentioned earlier there are small details that barely anyone pays attention to like visor lights or showing music info in the Gauge Cluster, granted the heated mirrors where something i just assumed all trims would have! Sound system quality is not something i paid attention to when i test drove it because quite frankly there’s more important things you pay attention to when you test drive a vehicle. I am however very pleased with the power the 2.0L puts out! Research basically showed me that almost every one thinks the 2.0 is sluggish and slow, I disagree! Research only gets you so far.
Either way parts are Set to come in tomorrow morning and i will go over how to install all of them in detail whenever i get started.

Curious why did you get rid of the touring for a sport? I agree on the power output being very subjective, I heard the CRV with the 1.5t (not the higher power hybrid) was slow but we find ours to be plenty adequate.
A significant pay cut due to job change which in the end was worth it. So I downgraded to a Corolla in the meantime. I recently purchased a house and had grown very tired of the corolla so I decided to NOT have any patience and purchased a Sport even though my plan was to purchase a New Gen Accord, ohh well 🤷‍♂️

That stinks but hopefully pays off in the long term. I know the house purchase in this day and age is not very economical either. I sold my Prius and bought my sport touring a year before we bought the house but probably wouldn’t have bought the car if we got the house first, just would have thrown that money as additional to the mortgage. No regrets though, driving 70 miles a day 3x a week it’s nice to have the added creature comforts

well im young and dumb, i shall learn patience later on haha, but i accomplished what i wanted to accomplish. Even though i would’ve loved that accord, my Bank is awesome and they gave me good interest in this current market, however the accord was not something they wanted to do that shortly after they financed the house haha.

Me myself have gone with the DS18 set up. 6.5 DXI kit. Allows me to bridge in the tweeters with the included passive crossovers. Include the ZXI 12" 2000 watt bass kit in a clean box. Might add a DSP with Bluetooth to maximize quality. Looking at the DS18 DSP4.8BTM. Factory system should handle the midst and highs fine. But want to prevent overloads. Especially if I add a 4 channel to the mix
