As someone stated in the other thread, this is not any form of mauve. Mauve is a moderate purple, violet, or lilac color. Did Honda state that this pic was Mauve in their PR release?

• • I test drove this today, cloudy, sun trying to break out, one must see it in person to judge. Too bad not a beautiful wine color as official photos hint. Very grey with hint of purple which does not show up without some sun.

Had to wait until after test drive for decent photos for simply could not get the essence of the color when extremely cloudy. It's not love at first sight, has to grow on you a little.

And of course the color might have been more desireable to me if their drive out price including taxes and tags was not $39,937.44. It will be sitting awhile. Saying I did not really like color provided me a quick exit.

I have one, she is a true mauve in full sun and almost grey when overcast, smoky mauve pearl accurate
