Seems nice, but I'm finding it's really hard for me to care about new models until Honda can figure out how to make the cars they're currently supposed to make. Trying to find anything affordable is a nightmare right now, dealer lots are empty, and people just want to be able to buy a regular Civic without looking all over and paying a big mark-up for an uncertain delivery date. Until they fix that, they can keep this fancy Civic and save the microchips.

It's an industry-wide problem and a Honda problem, but I don't really care if Ford can build enough Escapes. I'm not blaming Honda specifically for chip shortage woes; I'm just saying I'm less interested in new cars than I normally would be because I know it's so difficult for people to actually find and buy what they want at a reasonable price right now.

It’s a nice daily family car.
But, I rather have the 2023 CTR if I was looking that Honda sports thrill
If anyone is crying over how this new Integra isn’t the same soul of a 1999 ITR then they should wake up from the fact this isn’t 1999 anymore. That’s 23 years ago - the world isn’t the same…. That’s you herrnie

It was a typically fantastic SavagGeese video.

I was really surprised that the Integra (the 36K version):
  • Didn't have a spare tire (the Civic has a spare)
  • Doesn't have leather seats (the Civic Touring/Sport Touring have leather seats)
  • Has a tiny, unimpressive heads-up display
  • Is only available in silver, black, white, and blue (from the Acura website)
  • Has exactly the same infotainment display as the Civic
  • Has exactly the same steering wheel as the Civic
Color me underwhelmed, especially since dealers will want $45K for a $36K sticker price car.

Saw another nice YouTube video where the reviewer compared it to a BMW 2-series. I've driven a BMW 240i and my 2022 Civic Sport Touring. There's no comparison - the 2-series is what the 3-series used to be - fun, fast, and well engineered (and I really like my '22 Civic Sport Touring)

When SG reviewed the Civic Si, Jack was not liking the stiff ride of the Civic Si. They now like the Integra as the ride is more compliant. That tells me I don't want the Integra no matter how nice it is, as I prefer a stiffer ride and the handling of the Civic Si is spot on for me. I don't find the Civic Si overly stiff , it is perfect IMO.
