I may end up changing the front windows to 35% later. We shall see.

For what it's worth, the car was still running in the pics and I went to the empty part of the parking lot to take those pics. I'm ocd about being dress right dress in between the lines

They look great, I was debating on the tint % I should get and yours looks pretty good!

What kind did you get (material wise), and what's the nighttime driving like? A buddy of mine has limousine tint and can't see during the night at all lol

Also just a general question, but what's the tint allowance in your state? I've heard people get tints removed specifically for inspection, but man is that a waste of time.

Thank you! I got standard film from the Geoshield Pro Classic dyed line. I can't have any tint on the front windshield lower than the as1 line, so that kind of negated the effects of getting ceramic for the heat reduction properties.

Im in Ohio, and as mentioned above, no tint below the as1 line, but it can be any darkness. rear windows starting from the rear passengers have no limit on darkness. I wasnt able to get a clear answer on front windows, but saw anywhere from 35-50% :censored: granted, I see plenty of limo tint all around and even the occasional front window tint here. Fortunately, we dont have inspection here other than e-check depending on the county you live in.

When I was stationed in North Carolina, I had 5% limo tint all the way around and left a $50 in the cup holder to pass the state inspection :ROFLMAO:

Regarding night driving, its not so bad in the city due the the amount of ambient lighting. Its a little sketchy out in the sticks on poorly lit roads however. If most of your driving takes place out there, I personally wouldnt go darker than 35%

Yes, for cover, that’s why we angle the patrol car too when exiting it. All of these things things are for safety. The same as how the officer will touch the back of the car to place a fingerprint as evidence that he was on the scene.

I was in the military police, I’ve never been a civilian police officer although I do have some in my family.

A “narc” refers to a narcotics officer, I don’t think that applies here and remember kids only dopes do dope.

Lol for what it's worth, in the past if I was pulled over, the car was shut off, the overhead dome light went on, the windows were rolled down, my hands stayed on the steering wheel and I announced to the officer what hand was moving where and why before I moved it. Worked well in the past, so that's still the plan

That started in the late 60’s and early 70’s, way before the interconnect, you’re just not old enough like some of us here.

The Rock opened the door at high speed and was skiing on ice with his shoes then grabbed a torpedo from a submarine and threw it… and there are some people who think that’s actually possible.

It’s ASI (Automotive Safety Institute), not AS1 😉
Thanks for the correction! I couldn't tell if it was an I or a 1 on my windows :LOL:
Well, I noticed that on my Civic it does in fact look like a “1” and I checked my HR-V and it looks more like an “I”. So, I’ve seen ASI for decades and am not sure what this AS1 is about.
