Do you have Youtube music working? I have a subscription, it's connected to my account but I just get an error "Youtube music is not working right now"

 

Yes it works for me. No issues. I’ve had my car 4 weeks now. It has worked since the first day.

Are you signing in on the car with your same Google account that you have for your YouTube subscription?

 

Yeah I am, even if I wasn't I'd expect some sign in related error, it just does nothing.

I am gonna factory reset the radio and start over, see if I missed a permission somewhere.

I figured it out.. I had two youtube channels attached to my google account I set up years ago, removed one I did not need and magic, it worked. On the phone or web page it would always give me the option to pick the one all my playback history is associated with. I guess with the radio app it's limited and it never got that far, it just threw an error.

 

I have Amazon Music, Spotify, and Tidal all working

 

I am using the NRK (Norwegian radio) app. Good pop music, commercial-free, multiple channels. Installed Radio FM and iHeartRadio but rarely use.
