I think I posted this in the wrong forum so trying to move it here:

Hello Honda Experts

Maybe an odd question, but can someone with a 2022 WITHOUT mudguards send me a picture (or tell me) what the inside of the front fender looks like where the mud guards are drilled/attached? Are there pre-drilled holes? Are the mud guards easy to remove without causing permanent modifications to the car (if they have already been installed)? If it matters, I am most interested in a 2022 HB.

Thanks so much, I am getting confusing info when looking online.

I just installed my splash guards on my 2022 Civic HB last week. I got them from College Hills Honda like obert's post. Here is the instructions for the hatch in particular as well as a video that I used.

As far as the front fender goes, there are two screws already in the fender that you remove and reuse for the splash guard. They include one extra screw per guard to install the splash guard that you need to use on the pre-made hole on the fender. (You have to puncture it with a pin or awl first)
The rear fender was a little more complicated as you need to use a clip that they include to clamp onto your fender to act as a screw hole for your extra screw. It was quite annoying to measure and install and the instructions say you should cut off a section of the rear fender cover but I didn't do that and it still went on fine.

It took me about an hour cause the rear clips were giving me a lot of problems but as far as removal, you should be able to remove them without any damages as long as you don't scratch the fender when clamping the clips.

Hope this helps!
