So I’ve had the Swift Spec-R springs installed for about 3-4 weeks now and I’ve noticed some knocking noises when I turn the steering wheel a full turn left or right. The knock sounds come from both sides, not all the time, but periodically, I will hear it make a loud knock sound. Is this due to improperly seated springs within the strut/shock assembly? The car drives fine, even after completing a 600 mile round trip from NC to SC and back. The vehicle already had one alignment done, but Im about to get the Whiteline rear upper camber arms installed since the rears a a fraction off from spec. Any help in identifying what’s wrong is appreciated!

Suspension knocks are hard to identify. Its most likely a gremlin down there whackin somethin with a pipe when you turn sharp
I would say 9 times out of 10 a knock sound is caused by improper installation or something is loose. Might just want to double check everything is still torqued to spec.

- Looks like another user (OGGSR), in the above post, had similar clunking/knocking noise issues when turning the wheel with these Swift Spec-R springs. Already ordered the TEIN silencers for the springs. Going to try these out first since there doesn’t seem to be any functionality issue and the clunking/knocking noise doesn’t seem to happen all the time. Crossing fingers that this clears up the issue.
When it comes to suspension noises, I always look at the end links first. A lot of the times they aren't torqued all the way and cause a clunking noise.
This exact thing happened to me on my 10th gen with my Springs, Coils, and Bags, the culprit was the sway bar links needing retorquing... and a little loctite, First thing I recommend you do is get the car in the air and check every bolt you touched during install Here are the torque specs for a X Gen they should be the same but I would double check for 11th gen. either way it should be good enough as a reference point for where your torque specs should be at.

Damn I had just ordered these ! This is the second post of someone complaining of noise after installing these! Does anyone have any recommendations on Springs ? Any experience with Eibach ? Would appreciate the feedback!
