I have a 2025 Civic Hybrid Sport Touring Sedan on order. It appears that Honda uses MyQ on this car for a garage door opener. The issue is that Chamberlain (the manufacturer of MyQ) says on it's web site that this specific 2025 Civic model (Hybrid Sport Touring) is NOT SUPPORTED??? Has anyone tried to use MyQ on this 2025 Civic Hybrid Sport Touring sedan? The issue seems to be the wireless capability of the car. It's all very confusing, and the dealer has no clue. Honda says MyQ should work, but Chamberlain says no. Does anyone know the answer? Thanks!!
What is MyQ ?

The mirror on the 2025 Civic hybrid Sport Touring sedan does not have the HomeLink buttons, and so far, there is no optional replacement rearview mirror with HomeLink buttons. Honda says MyQ is supported on this 2025 Civic model, but Chamberlain (MyQ) says no. Thus, this thread to see if anyone has tried MyQ on this specific Civic model.
What about the 2024 Honda home link mirror ? Seems like that should work.

I just went through the trouble of installing the homelink mirror into my 2025 sport touring. I modified an accord mirror and swapped the ball sockets between them to keep the same geometry/swap the connectors. I tried to post a short build guide but I was not able to since I am a new user. Any one know how many posts I need to make before I can add image links?

MyQ is a webservice for controlling your garage door remotely. You have to install a special device and connect it to your garage door for it to work. In theory you can do it from the other side of the world from you phone. I question the utility of this feature.

In practice this means instead of pushing a button on the mirror you have to navigate to a menu on the infotainment system and there is a delay before the door opens or closes.

It wouldn't be a bad addition if the HomeLink mirror wasn't removed. It's not a replacement for a traditional garage door opener.

Not to mention there’s a monthly fee to use Hondas integration in the nav system….And if your myQ opener is linked to anywhere else, it won’t work.

Why would you not use civic home link mirror?

If you really want an OEM Homelink, you can use the Homelink mirror meant for the Accord.

Part numbers:
Harness 08V03-30A-100
Homelink Mirror 08V03-3A0-100

I did this install on my '24 Sport hatch. I doubt Honda changed the mirror mounting points for the '25 models.

Here's a how-to video for the install. It's an Integra, but hey, it's the same car.

Sick. Thanks for this. I always intend to do writeups or install videos but abandon out of pure selfishness as it’s hard enough to do stuff without holding a camera. You’re one of the good ones. Cheers!

Just defaulting to using MyQ on my phone. Of course that assumes you are never out and about without your phone😒

I tried it but my MyQ compatible operator would not connect. While troubleshooting Hondalink wanted to sell me an add on box for my operator that would connect to the car. No thanks! I finally decided to go old school and secure my remote to the overhead in front of the mirror with velcro.

KISS - original opener with Velcro is the the optimal solution. No internet need, no subscription, no opening car and fiddle with wires.
Person who came up with Velcro solution deserves all kudos. I still attach opener to the sun-visor but will apply Velcro trick next time.

The lack of Homelink and adjustable lumbar support are literally my only two disappointments with my Civic. I still reach for the button on the rearview mirror sometimes. It would be more annoying if I parked in the garage every night. Since I moved my aging parents in with me a few years ago, I let them park in the garage. But the lack of a simple button still irks me. I just keep the remote in the glove compartment.

How much time did it take to install? And how much skill is involved? I would be VERY interested to do something similar.

The install takes about an hour, and only requires trim tools and a fuse puller (which can be found in the fuse box under the hood). You don't have to swap out the ball sockets like Myscion. Personally, the hardest part is removing the a-pillar trim to run the harness, as the clip holding it on is a pain to remove. This video helps explain how to remove it.
