How rigid collars have saved my life

Bit if an overstatement, but holy shit! I had a shop put in a set of blox rigid collars into my front and rear subframes today and it's almost like I never had the 27juan RMM in the first place. Almost all the NVH my car had at lower rpms is gone!

I'd put this up there as an absolute necessity if you get a stiffer rear motor mount bushing. It will legitimately change your life. My car drives smoother than it did the day I got it.

Also as a sidenote, if you plan on buying the whiteline 26mm sway bar and putting it on a lowered car, be prepared to grind the square edges off of it - it will constantly hit the control arm. Why whiteline would make it have square edges I will never understand.

Yeah, it's gonna be very noticeable if you've stiffened your cars ride for sure

Let us know how it goes, are you gonna be doing it yourself? The shop I went to spent a few hours at it, one of the few times I go to shops is with stuff that's easier on a lift

The shop I went to is $125/hour, the front took about 2 hours and the rear did too. Total was around $550. I also had other work done like adjustable lower ball joints, sway bar fitment stuff and an alignment - which totaled out to ~$1k.

That seems like the going rate around where I am though, the last shop I went to charged similarly per hour.

You'll need an alignment after the install, so you'd have to go to a shop anyways. Just be prepared to pay a lot :(

I take it back, I want a stiffer RMM now. It doesn't feel as raw anymore. 90a RMM it is

I got the blox rigid collars from wunderladen racings site. I also emailed TSP about what one they recommended and I was told that spoon, blox and PRL are pretty much identical in quality.

Here's a picture of one of the rear subframe rigid collars btw:

Have you installed the 90a rmm for 27won yet? My whole car vibrates and shakes the 90a and wondering if the rigid collars would help a ton.
Not yet. Don't feel like poking the bear until I get some more stuff done first lol
