Was wondering have there been any updates or ways to side load youtube or netflix to the head unit or any other way to screen mirror video playing off of your phone to the head unit? I hear that some of the newer head units can play crunchy roll.

Sadly haven't seen anything. Other manufacturers version of Android Automotive seem to have better support without hacks, they even got browsers to use. Honda is behind... I suspect we're not gonna see any updates to this OS. Car manufacturers love to just market the shit out of these things but then just leave it unmaintained, especially Honda

I will say that that is one thing I am unpleased with Honda. The system lags, sometimes doesn't even turn on while driving, and has multiple errors. "Infotainment"... after seeing my friends Kia K5 and the screen on it, I was like "DAYUMMMMM... thats cool!" but no... hell no, I would never own a Kia k5. lol

To fix the lag, I disabled the head unit's navigation and usually just use either Apple Maps or Google Maps through Carplay. Disabling the head units native navigation has made it a lot more responsive. Some people have said that when they did this their Apple Maps and Google Maps stopped working, which doesn't make any sense since that is getting and using data through your cell phone, so just use at your own discretion and hopefully it works for you.

Video walking you through on how to disable navigation.

Just buy an adapter like this one. There are multiple online that do the same thing.
