Coolant and brake fluid questions

I was curious about what replacement fluids I should use for my brakes and engine coolant. I know a lot of people stick with oem, but is there genuinely something better?l Also, are both fluid services intended to be drain and fills? bleeds? What about pcv valve replacement?

I was looking for tutorial videos online but figured it's faster here.

Those heartland videos were gonna be my go to guide lol, he was really good about exact procedures.

I'm gonna do a drain and fill for the radiator, just don't know about fill level in the radiator itself. I'm sure I'll figure it out though.

I've seen a few people do a brake drains from the fill hole using a vacuum, but I'll just pump the brakes with a line disconnected. Is there any need to use the exact same brake fluid as Honda, as in does the two mixing cause problems?

The OEM PCV Valve for the 2.0 is part number 17130-5A2-A01.

The only person I've ever seen mention a PCV valve was cleanneon when he shared the maintenance minder list (https://www.civic11forum.com/thread...maintenance-schedule.6514/?post_id=64164&nested_view=1&sortby=oldest#post-64164), stating that you should change it every 30k, along with the brake fluid and CVT fluid. Seems to be located on the right side of the valve cover towards the back; doesn't look too difficult to change. And it isn't terribly expensive either.

Radiator should be full using a kit like this to have it more than full while the car is running to get the air out of the system, then you let the car cool down, plug the funnel and put the left over coolant back in your container. Make sure your reservoir is in the range on the jug when done

let the car run long enough to let the radiator fans kick on twice to cycle the coolant getting the bubbles out.
