I haven’t driven the Integra but I got the civic touring hatch 6MT recently. A 6MT was top priority for me, and in hindsight the Integra is something I wish I’d text driven (price delta not that much considering markups). The touring civics are supposed to have more sound deadening than lower trims, but I find it still pretty loud at highway speeds, so points to Integra most likely. I prefer the interior design of the civics. But the Integra strikes me as a great mix between the civic si performance capabilities, and the nicer amenities of the civic touring trims. If you go for an Integra, the rev match of the Integra and LSD will make it a ton more fun than the civic sedan touring. And you’ll have the cargo flexibility of the hatch (which just about looks like a sedan in this generation).
Thanks for those thoughts! What is "LSD"?

Unsure about the US Touring model but the Canadian Si is based on the Touring model so I am not sure if the sound deadening is the same. Most of the road noise comes from the crappy Goodyear Eagle Sport AS tires. It's definitely no German car but with better tires, it helps a lot.

The Canadian Si has a few things we are missing in the US version unfortunately. My touring hatch has Continental pro contact tires. Idk much about wheels but I might switch it up when these are worn out for something quieter, although I worry that most low profile tires will be louder than I’m used to.

Are you saying that the tire quality and quietness is inferior on the Sedan Touring vs. the Hatch Sport Touring? Or vs. the Integra?
Sedan touring has louder tires than hatch touring, so even with the trunk being sealed off it’s not actually quieter than the hatch. It would be, with the continentals from the hatch, but god Goodyears on the sedan are not great

the integra will def be quieter, up to you if it’s quieter enough for the price point. I usually have my stereo volume moderately set, and road noise is minimal with music on. Then again, road noise doesn’t bother me even without music. Maybe if you live somewhere with more abundantly rough pavement, your mileage will vary

I mean if I was in the US and compared the models there to the Integra, I'd probably go with the Integra. I couldn't live without a lot of the creature comforts (especially when the heated steering wheel up here).

I would consider upgrading from my Si to the Integra Type S however.

I know you can get the heated wheel on the CRV as a dealer option, and it’s the same wheel as the civic, so that solves that problem. I think they just swap the steering wheel and transfer the airbag

Maybe I’ll go drive the integra again locally to see if my thoughts have changed after 6 months with the hatch

edit, this seems like a steal if anyone wants to add this to their car 2022 Civic Sedan Sport Leather Heated Steering Wheel w/ Audio Cruise Control OEM | eBay

I finally had the chance to drive the top trim level Integra today. Was a beautiful car and I thoroughly enjoyed the drive. But it made clear for me that I prefer the civic touring.

To me, the civic feels more comfortable and relaxed, is more esthetically pleasing, and brings back great memories of a civic I had 35 years ago.

A great reminder that nothing can take the place of a test drive. Thanks again for all the comments everyone shared!

Bit of an old post, but I just wanted to chime in here as someone who owns both an Integra 6MT and is currently in the process of purchasing a Civic Sport Touring. I've also had extensive seat time in a 2022 Civic Touring sedan as we purchased one for my mother in early 2022.

The Integra is the loudest of the 3, even if by a small margin. Best I can tell, it did not get the sound deadening that the Touring models have. Alex on Autos testing confirms this - the Touring Sedan is quieter than the Sport Touring, the Integra is louder than both.

The sedan being quieter does make sense since the back wheels and cargo area are better isolated from the cabin than in the hatch. The integra being the loudest, doesn’t make sense actually.

could you share the link of that Alex on Autos video? Thanks!

Just a few of the loads I’ve carried, no way a sedan can touch that. There’s a few correct things here and a lot of wrong info. In theory the sedan can be quieter, but comes with louder (and objectively worse) tires that make the sedan louder than the hatch. Privacy in the trunk is a non issue. Yes the integra is quieter, but the overall feel wasn’t 7k better in the loaded Acura vs the loaded Civic. The stereo was better, but the Bose is far from Bad. And my opinion and totally subjective, but I prefer the styling of the Civic inside and out, to the Integra too. The integra gets a little more power, which is counteracted by added weight, and it feels the same as the civic. Integra has a higher load lip which makes loading stuff considerably harder vs the civic

you’ve really gotta drive both, I drove the Acura while I was waiting for my civic to come in, cause the civic was delayed and I thought let me maybe cancel that and get the Acura, and that’s where my opinion comes from it just wasn’t that much better for the price, but I think a lot of that comes from the civic already being so so good View attachment 14302

If I wanted to do all that I'd buy a truck. I specifically wanted a trunk to NOT do that.

Another interesting data point I noticed today between our Civic Sport Touring and Integra. The Civic has an acoustic windshield. The Integra, for some reason, does not.
