Age old forum question "headlights are too bright" versus "they aren't bright enough". Real answer is they're are fine and people eyes suck.

Important to see what you are running over, just before you run over it.
Fog lights project downward & illuminate about 5 ft in front of vehicle.
And how THAT helps if you are driving 80mph??? How many milliseconds takes to travel 5ft at that speed?
In my book fog lights are just a gimmick and waste of time. As the are FOG lights I guess idea was to use them when it is a FOG and you have to drive VERY SLOW. But since nobody is driving slow these days save money and stay at home when weather is bad.

Nobody can help you if you're stupid enough to drive 80 mph in the fog.

I saw this from the RS, which is in Asia. Does the US have anything similar yet in the aftermarket for foglights on the 2025 Civic models?

Hi members! After communicating with Black Hawk Japan back and forth via email, they now have these 2025 Honda Civic OEM fog lights available for purchase. Price is great in my opinion too. It's been a long time coming so here are the links to purchase either clear or yellow. If anyone buys these and installs them, please upload pictures and/or a YouTube video link on this post so we can see how they look on the actual car. Thank you.

I have read every comment from you. I am very grateful to the friend who provided the installation manual PDF document. I am just researching this fog lamp, and getting the installation manual is the best result. Based on my years of experience in researching Japanese fog lamps and the information collected from multiple channels, I will explain your questions.

1. Both of these LED fog lamps are produced by Valeo's Chinese factory and are very expensive. They are the latest upgraded LED fog lamps officially in Japan, suitable for the fourth-generation FIT (GR/GS), ZR-V/HR-V (RZ3, RZ4) and 2025 CIVIC (FE1/FE4/FL1/FL4) models. No matter which model of Civic you have, as long as it is the latest front bumper, you can install this kit. The fixed feet of the fog lamp itself are different from those of the OEM fog lamp, and there are fewer similar fog lamps or substitute models.

2. The template paper needs to be used to drill holes in multiple places on both sides of the front bumper, and finally cut into a large hole to accommodate the combined installation of the outer lampshade and the inner fog lamp bracket. If you are good at hands-on work, then this is not a difficult task.

3. Japanese domestic models usually reserve the main harness of fog lights from the engine compartment to the passenger compartment, so the wiring part in the Japanese manual is very simple. You only need to connect the harness connecting the left and right fog lights to the reserved main harness. However, for the American Civic models and Civic models in other regions (including China where I am), this part of the harness and relay are not reserved, and you need to make or purchase a custom harness yourself.

4. The third component in the Japanese official website is the light control lever (not a button switch). It is a right-hand drive version, installed on the right side of the steering wheel, with a front fog light control knob added, but no rear fog light control. For left-hand drive models such as the United States and China, this handle cannot be used, and you need to buy a left-hand drive version of the control lever yourself. In China, I have to replace the control lever containing the front and rear fog lights (the rear fog lights are mandatory by regulations, but the front fog lights are not mandatory).

Finally, I feel that this fog light takes into account both beauty and practicality. If I have to choose, I will choose the yellow light version (2700K), which is more practical in rainy and foggy weather. I heard that the brightness of this fog light is not very high. It is a consensus that its price is too expensive!

Thank you for all your information. Very helpful. Enjoy your yellow fog lights option. I will be getting the clear (white) ones when I decide to buy them. I found a couple YouTube videos of the Japan Civic model with the fog lights on and they compliment the car very much. Very nice look to them.

Excuse my ignorance but what are 'rear fog lights'?
From https://dastern.torque.net/Rearfogs/Rearfogs.html

"A rear fog lamp is a red light, about as bright as a brake lamp, manually switched on by the driver in conditions of very poor visibility (heavy fog, rain, snow) to increase your car's visibility to vehicles behind. A rear fog lamp is very much brighter than regular taillights, and the light is usually concentrated in a tighter beam to "punch" through fog, rain or snow."

Not really mandatory in North Ameica, but required in other parts of the world.

Yea if you've ever owned a European car from as far back as early 90's it would have rear fogs.

This is great news! I plan on getting them at some point but still pricey.

Great info. Eventually I will be adding these to my usdm 25 sport sedan.
