Hello everyone I’ve been lurking around the forum but I am going to share my issue in hopes of helping others and to raise awareness. I currently have a 23 civic sport hatch with 8,000 miles on it, my mom has a 23 sport sedan with 9,000 miles on it and my younger brother has a 24 sport hatch with 4,000 miles on it. All of these vehicles have the same K20C2 engine it and all 3 of these vehicles are leaking oil through the valve cover. Words can’t describe how disappointing this is especially when these cars are less than a year old with utterly low miles. I’m not sure what happened to the build quality for Honda but I really can’t comprehend how the hell something like this happens. I am not new to the Honda scene I’ve had my hands in all kind of Hondas. My 9th gen civic that I still have which has 220k on is bullet proof 0 issues brakes tires oil change battery that’s it. I had 2000 Integra GSR (100 page build thread on team Integra) I am more than capable of making the repair but I’m not going to make excuses for anyone. A brand new car shouldn’t be having issues like this period a month other small issues ie sticky steering etc. my mother brother and I are taking the cars to get this fixed but it’s bs in my opinion. Rant over folks any questions lmk. I’ll update this post and will be monitoring things very closely. Stay tuned. Some pics below
