Do anyone about the cuurent witing period for new civic. I have ordered a new civicbut the are saying the cars are coming slowly to the dealership. Is there anyone with same situation
I ordered from Cambridge Ontario.Where in Canada are you located? I’m in Ontario and my dealer was telling me I might be waiting for quite a while because the trim I ordered is “very rare”. I ordered a Black LX sedan, for reference.
When I ordered back in September, I was told it would come in December. The latest estimate I got was that it would arrive in February.

congrats really. sometimes I feel same. they just play with you and you got nothing , nowhere to go and complain them. if you don't mind , was corolla in stock or you just ordered and waiting for the delivery ?FWIW, today I cancelled my 2022 Civic LX order placed on April 4 and got my deposit back.. I contacted Honda Canada corporate to see if they could provide some assurances that I would be accorded some priority for delivery as I had been waiting since April and they could not and gave the usual boiler plate answers about supply chain issues… the Dealer blamed Honda Canada and Honda Canada, the manufacturer, said you have to stay in touch with dealer on delivery time frames and could not give any timeframe for a 2023 LX….good riddance, just bought a 2023 Corolla LE Upgrade and the difference between the Honda and Toyota dealer was night and day… yes I may have jumped from the fat to the fryer but at this stage I am done with Honda….. It has been an interesting journey gents and hopefully you get your cars in the timeframe your dealers have said… ciao
Waiting for delivery of 4-6 months but they indicated the car will indeed be built and I will receive it in that time frame… I asked very pointed questions on delivery times to a number of different dealer staff and they were consistent in their answers as this has apparently been the pattern they have seen….but I guess only time will tell but they did pass the sniff test compared to the vague non-answers I had been getting from the Honda dealer over the past few months and including the “answers” this past week the from Honda Canada…. The 2023 Corolla LE is big improvement over the 2022 version and the 2022 version was not a worthy competitor to the 2022 civic lx…. the 2023 Corolla LE, dare I say it, is now better value than the 2023 Civic LX…congrats really. sometimes I feel same. they just play with you and you got nothing , nowhere to go and complain them. if you don't mind , was corolla in stock or you just ordered and waiting for the delivery ?
I have had the same experience with my dealer in Guelph. One difference is they keep giving me "dates" the car should arrive but only tell me the date has changed when I send my biweekly email... I ordered my 23 Touring on July 29, 2022.My husband and I ordered a White 2023 Honda Civic EX on August 18th, 2022 from Durham region in Ontario. I am unhappy to say that our salesman has NOT kept us in the loop, in fact I have been the one who consistently reaches out to get the exact same response every single time, "nothing to report." How about this? How about Honda Canada being TRANSPARENT & HONEST with their customers who are waiting on their new 2023 Civic!!!! Apparently that is way too much to expect from them. So should we expect Honda to cancel our order? Should we stop being excited about getting a Honda? Should we go purchase a Jetta? Hyundai? This experience has been AWFUL!!! Please Honda Canada your customers are begging for some information, PLEASE
Don"t feel bad . I ordered an Si in January only to have it cancelled in August. Then the sales manager said he could get me a HB in September. It arrived last friday. What a shock.So hang in there.Hopefully you won"t have to wait as long as I did.I ordered my black civic touring in September 2022 and was told between 1-2 months. Almost 3 months later no idea of the ETA.. I have give them more color options and the HB version in case this gets the process go faster but I am not putting my hopes up lol.. just ridiculous

This is exactly what I said to Honda Canada that they need to be communicating and up-front with purchasers rather than the ad hoc approach of relying on vague Information from dealers. All I got was a “thanks for reaching out, supply chain issues” answer. And I asked specifically because I was waiting from April will I get delivery priority over somebody who purchased after me and they could not provide that assurance nor could they give ANY timeframe for possible delivery….that is when I voted with my wallet….My husband and I ordered a White 2023 Honda Civic EX on August 18th, 2022 from Durham region in Ontario. I"m having a blast driving the HB 6 spd. It handles really well and that manual is crisp.Can"t wait till spring to put on my accessories.The only thing i can do is put in my TUXMAT floor mats. they are awesome floor mats. And no i do not work for Tuxmat. LOL😂😂😂I figure there should be some movement on deliveries by January,February hopefully.

6 spd or CVT?I sent my bi-weekly email and the reply was good news…I have a VIN for my Touring! A little more cautiously optimistic after waiting 3 months (I know that is a short time compared to some people).
