I wish I hadn't seen it because now I want a Gold one! I'm looking between the new Civic hatch and the '22 Seltos for right now, actually. I extended my current Fit lease for a bit to test drive both. The 10th was nice but I couldn't commit to the styling for a decade or so. If the Civic hatch lost cargo space or got worse for car seats (i have 2 kids) then I'll probably have to go for the Seltos due to the extra space. If not, I'll probably wait for a red EX to come around my area. We'll see. I love how the Civic drives and would be buying the car, so it'll all come down to how we fit in the car.

Also, I'm pretty sure Mohawk Honda here in the Albany area just got 6 of 'em. They're not listed as Civics but the price and the year match the sedan version. They're the #1 dealer in our area so it makes sense they'd get them first. 2 Black, 2 Gray, 2 Silver.

The Seltos is nice, my sister owns one and I've spent some time behind the wheel of it. My biggest concern with buying one right now is Hyundai's track record for engine problems these past few years, that's a can of worms I don't even want to risk opening. At least with a Honda you know it should last, or that's the way I'm look at it anyway.

Yeah, that is a concern. I'll have to look more into it if the Civic hatch doesn't work for us. I'm already used to the Honda Sensing features too which is a nice bonus. I feel like if I take my wife in a test drive in a Seltos she would really love it. One thing we missed while test driving the 10th gen Civic is the airy feeling that the Fit has. The Seltos has that feeling too. Plus, they have air vents in the back too, which it doesn't seem like the Civic has still. Our kids sweat to death in the backseats of the Fit on hot days even with the air cranked. Worried about that in Civic too. Guess we can look at new HRV too at some point soon as well. The fun of car shopping with a family!

Valley Hi Honda must be very busy. I talk to “ one of the new car mgr’s” ask for a price he never called me back 😡.
The good part is I got a GREAT deal from the G.M at my local dealership. I pick up my new 2022 civic touring tomorrow morning. 😊.

My local dealership up here in Canada has a manual hatch sport touring on their website. Waterloo Honda
