But no transmission in the hybrids. Just a clutch. Was it the electric motors you meant?

The window sticker lists "transmission" as Japan even on Hybrids.

I don't think it matters where your car was built if you trust the Honda manufacturing arm.

For the most part. But if you look back at the 11th Gen hatches in particular there is a current TSB on the hatches because of leaks. It covered all hatches except the Type R (the only hatch up to that point made in Japan).

But my car is from Saitama and the cover for the tow hook wasn't flush and I had to bump it in for what it's worth hehe.
