If you live within the GTA, it is advised to stay away from Whitby-Oshawa Honda, Maple Honda, Number 7 Honda, London Honda, Oakville Honda and Halton Honda. These dealers, based on posts in other forums from clients, they will not sell you a car without you agreeing to $5k-$7k worth of add-ons.

Before I settled on my dealership, I pass by Whitby-Oshawa Honda and they tried to get me to pay $599 dealer fee, $1700 paint protection, $2300 extended warranty. The crooked salesman (Tony Ghowsi) will not sell you a car if you do not agree to atleast $5k add-ons. He said if you don't agree, then you can order one and wait 6 months instead. But like your situation, even if you ordered one and the car comes in, it will likely not be allocated to you and be sold to someone willing to pay $5k extra. All their reviews for this dealership are fake

I've been waiting now for 6 months now. I ordered mine back on July 22. Called my dealer mid Jan said the delivery expected mid of Feb. I spoke to different dealers and they said the waiting time is ruefully about 4 to 6 months because Honda have 4 new modals this year and Honda slowly producing Civics sadly.

I have been waiting 4 1/2 months for an LX and heard nothing back. When it gets to 6 months I am canceling it. I recommend that you do the same. Other manufacturers have much shorter waits.

( if it's true lol). So I waited 6 months for nothing. I am searching for other dealerships to go! Is there anyone who has good experience in other dealerships?

Most dealerships are honestly shitty, I ordered a 23 si from London honda, back in august and they were really not helpful with the whole process. Took days before they respond to texts about questions I had about the car. But I got my VIN yesterday and my car is scheduled to arrive this or next week. So it really took 6 months. Though according to them I could have gotten a si back in December if I wanted white, I wanted grey.

of course I reach him every 3 weeks. Last time, he told that for sure I can get the car within this year. I sent another email last week and he literally didn't give me answer but he says contact with the manager. I called him and he told me they cannot get any LX lol.

I went to the dealership yesterday! The manager said wait 3 more months and you still may not get any date. It will be around 1 year wait plus no guarantee.
Its winnipeg crown honda. So if anyone wants to buy a civic touring in black wait for a year

That's terrible, are you in Ontario? I ordered a 23 si back in September, and it just arrived last week. Took 5-6 months, but I mean it's a si. You probably should switch dealerships tho, cause that's too bad. My dealership has a 2023 black hatchback sport touring for sale, not sure if you're close to checking it out yourself.
