I go my 2023 Si today in black! Black wasn't my favorite color, but it looks really sharp and classy. I called earlier in the week to see when it was due to arrive and if it was still available. Turned out it was delivered to the dealer the next day and they had it ready for me 2 days later.

I paid about $1400 over MSRP with no dealer add ons. All other dealers in the area that have them either on the lot or allotted to them are marking them up $5k!!! My dealer only got one other 2023 Si so far and may not get any more. I have never seen an 11th gen Si on the road in my area so I feel fortunate to have landed this car.

Compared to my 2020 Si, it feels more grown up, more refined, and classier. Shifting is smoother with power up to 5k rpms and more. The suspension is much more forgiving but still grips the road. The seats are a little wider and feel a bit more comfy. My wife will appreciate the suspension and seat differences! The stereo sounds WAY better and the touch screen is far more responsive.

There are things about the 2020 that I like better. The stiffer suspension and the rougher shifting have a certain appeal. The car rewards you for shifting well.

The 2020 sill remain in the family since my son will be driving it soon when he gets his permit.

Looking forward to getting to know this car better.

Other than the color, it is a great car.
Black shows none of the Si specific blacked features so it looks like a regular civic.

I rather like that, I prefer body color everything.

One thing I don't like about the 11th gen Si is that the mirrors don't match the rest of the car (unless you get black).
I actually like it, it matches the gloss Si spoiler, matches the black emblems if you replace them, and if you get any aftermarket lip/diffusers to add and you do gloss black it will also match that. Sort of keeps a cohesive theme going around the car

What did you pay for it?
MSRP plus the destination charge is roughly $29,600. With the market adjustment of $1400, that puts it at $31,000. On top of that was tax, plates and registration, doc fee, etc.

I'm starting to see other 11th Gen Si's on the road here so they are selling.

After spending time with the car, this is how I feel about it also. I like the very unified look. At some point I do plan on putting black emblems on. I also want fog lights. When I notice the lame fog light placeholders they put on the car, it really irritates me.

The only other color I really like this car in is orange. I like the rallye red and sonic gray pearl colors, but I don't like how they look on this car. My 10th gen Si looks best in rallye red IMHO.

I was a doubter of SGP for a while too, just in general, but having it in person now I think its actually pretty great

Black is a cool car color, so don't sweat it Mon Frere. Just keep it waxed and washed and it will be classy for its entire lifespan. Some folks say that particular colors do more justice to certain cars. I guess I can see their point. But I don't think you can ever go wrong getting any car in black or white. I think many people get lazy with waxing their cars and that's what gives black a worse rep. You have a great looking car and I'm happy for you.
