Any idea how to fix this? It's a brand new car with only 400km put into it.

I've heard that on my 2022 sport (~700 miles) when turning left too. The problem seems intermittent on mine. Don't know of a fix, but wanted to let you know you're not the only one.

I’m currently at 2500 miles and have not experienced this clicking noise. I’d say it’s most likely nothing to be concerned about as far as safety goes but that would definitely annoy me personally. I’d contact your dealer to see if they can look at it for you.

Yes mine happens every once in a while as well, it's very strange.

My car is at 3,000 miles and I still have this problem starting day 1

Been to the dealer 6 times with this issue and they were unable to fix it still

Considering selling the car because of this

Since day 1 my 2022 Civic LX has made a similar noise. More of a clunk. If I just tap on top of the steering wheel it makes the noise. Also sometimes while turning. Hopefully Honda addresses it and comes out with a fix. Something isn't right.

So I'm about 2000km in now and my steering wheel also just started to make the clicking sound. Only on turns to the left though. It's consistent in that it happens every drive but the number of clicks varies. If I go full lock left, sometimes it clicks once, other times it's like bubble wrap.

Did anyone follow up on this and get a response or fix?

Oh, my! It must be really annoying to you if you have to go to the dealer so many times.

Were you able to determine when and where it makes such noise? Does it have to do anything with canceling turning signal. Maybe it rubs on something?
I am sure you do not want to remove steering wheel and look yourself but do you really think dealer knows more than you???
Imagine some mechanic apprentice disassembling steering wheel of your car 6 times. I would not be confident anymore.

Very interesting that this is a common thing. Most likely just the clockspring. And yes only when turning left.
I'm about 3000 miles and just noticed it a bit ago. Thought it was too do with the cold weather

Had the steering column looked at today at my dealership and although they could hear it, they could not find a reason for it. They tested a 2022 on the lot, and heard the same clicking from it. Was told that it seems to be normal function for this gen. I'm leary of that for sure but so far, it doesn't seem to affect use in any way.
