I bought a 2025 Civic Hybrid Hatchback Sport Touring and have had it for 2 weeks. Spotify via Android Auto was working great but today Spotify won’t play. It shows up in the AA screen and a song is displayed but it won’t play. If I press the play button the button will change to the pause icon for a couple of seconds and then switch back and no music is ever heard.

I’ve tried removing the connection to my phone from the car and adding it back in. Force stopping AA on my phone. And other things. I tried searching in here and googling but no luck.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

I'm having this exact same problem. 2025 Civic Si. In fact, there is no audio being played from anything. Data so stuff like Homelink in the Hondalink app works as well as Maps and text messages.

For anyone having this issue, putting the screen in safe mode (by holding down the home button and the volume dial simultaneously for a couple of seconds) fixed this problem for us!
