Remote start no accessories work

were they switched to the on position prior to trying the remote start? as explained to me by the dealer, you have to leave on anything you want to come on by remote start. for example, you get to the beach, leave the ac turned to on and shut off the car. then when you are ready to leave, remote start the car and the ac will come on to start cooling the car before you get in. or set the ac to 'auto'. If your dealer doesn't know this, they suck. mine walked me thru all this at purchase.

I haven’t tried it on my Civic, but on my Nissan Altima, I was able to remote start it and if it was a hot day the ac would turn on and cool the inside, if it was a cold day then the heater would turn on.

I had the AC on last night when I shut off the car. This morning it was 38 degrees when I hit the remote start. The front and rear defoggers were running and so was the heat. I've never had to mess with it. Seems to know what the interior needs when remote started.

Yes everything was on, even turned it to medium fan etc... absolutely nothing works. Ac, heat, radio.. nothing, just car starts.

Ya my 2021 honda worked great. The 2022 is having issues. Even 2 other new cars on lot don't work either. They have a tech ticket in at honda for it.

do the heat warming lights come on as well ?
i notice when i get in mine the seats are warm but the seat heat lights are not on.

I don't have seat warmers in my car sorry so I can't answer that.

So I literally took my hatch touring in today to be checked. They said the heat and accessories don’t come on unless it’s under like 35°. Bro 40° is cold enough to need these features activated. I guess I will see what happens when it gets hot af in Florida to see if the car cools down. Dunno

What kind of radio issues have you dealt with? Is it a connection thing or something with the speakers?

Sometimes the radio is slow to turn on when I start the car. Sat radio or even fm radio takes forever to load. Also apple CarPlay glitches like crazy. Wired or wireless.

I’m having this same issue with my Touring. I got it almost 3 weeks ago. Did you ever get an answer as to why this was happening?

we’ve had a few cold mornings so far and I think my seats feel warm when I’ve sat in my car after having started it remotely. Nothing is on though, no lights I mean. I can hear the fan running, but we really haven’t had a frost yet to see if the defroster works.

I'm thinking it is a faulty module or something along those lines. Sure hope it's nothing more than that. What has your dealer said so far?

Hi, just wondering if anyone having this issue had a fix. I just purchased my Civic EX this weekend and when I turn on my remote start nothing is working for me as well.

I got the same issue on my Touring hatchback, after you remote start and get in the car, nothing is on, but you can hear the engine, and when you put it in drive the car turns off. Lol what a joke.
