Following, I have one ordered! I'm extremely excited. The black on red inside and out is sharp as fuck. Every one has an orange one don't think we will see to many of these.

Ordered the OEM Black emblem kit and installed the Black “H” on the trunk/deck lid , but not putting the black “Civic” until a black outlined red Si emblem is available so it looks more symmetrical.

Wow. Looks great, I also ordered the black emblems front ans back. I didn't know they were making black outlined SI emblems. Also I'm tinting my foglights amber colored and eventually getting actual amber lights once accessories and things start to come out (I hate waiting 😅)

Blackout Emblems Including Si

Did anyone order the black emblem from the dealer when you ordered the car? I did, while they do charge $300+ for the set, I'll take delivery with it already blacked out. Hopefully the dealer does a good job removing the chrome ones...😬 It’s around $140 CAN. If you do the installation...

Just picked up my rallye red si yesterday here in B.C canada. Initially color wasn't my first choice. This was the last 2022 si in B.C so decided to go for it. But now I really love the color!!!

Oh damn, I was just lucky man, there was a red one(last 2022 model in B.C) that was allocated to that particular dealership. It was probably there for 2 weeks, was surprised noone took it! I love the car man!!! The shifter is amazing and car is just so comfy. Seats are awesome it just hugs you. Btw, where you located? I hope you get your car soon man!

I'm also in BC, in the fraser valley! You're so lucky to have snagged one and I'm glad to keep hearing this positive feedback. I was actually aggressively talked into getting the 2022 hatchback sport and absolutely hate the CVT lag when stopping and going so im trading it back. I like to drive fast so I taught myself how to drive stick and hear we are waiting for my SI, I know it's not a type R but I think I'll be more than happy with it, anything is better than a CVT lag, plus I can tune it properly. 😅

Si is definitely the way to go. I love the sedan rear look better and the stick shift is so much fun. I can't do automatic cars and I traded in my 2021 Type R because I wanted the 2022 Si more. It's the perfect daily driver and great on gas. Plus I love the cool sunroof and interior/exterior. You're gonna love the new Si for sure!

View attachment 10695 wow, that looks sick, I hear the shifter is as smooth as butter! Haha I love seeing photos of the rallye red its Very sharp looking. Are you planning on doing any other cosmetic mods? I ordered mine plain like yours because I like the look way better than the HPD, I do plan on putting other aftermarket low profile skirts and lip, nothing to extreme looking.

back to you trading in your type R, was there anything major you didnt like about it compared to this?

The Type R kept getting small rocks stuck behind the rotor and brake shield so that was a huge costly flaw with that. I took it twice to get it removed and got charged $180+ the 2nd time. Plus I kept finding paint chips in the exposed areas where I didn't have paint protection film so I made sure to have my 2022 Si fully wrapped in PPF. I use it has my daily driver and it not only has no paint chips, but it is also much more fuel efficient than my 2021 Type R was. I already did all the minor mods to my 2022 Si which were the oem illuminated door sills, the mud guards, the window tints, the oem foglights installed, the wireless charging pad, and the installation of my subwoofer box with two 10" Alpine Type R subs. I love the way the car looks now and drives. I'm not a fan of

adding aftermarket parts so only way I would replace the whole exhaust would be if there was one that has zero droning inside the vehicle. The current stock one is too quiet on the outside, it needs some more growl. That's about it though. Enjoy your Si when you get it. Great car!

The subs sound awesome with the Bose speakers. I had my trunk sound dampened and removed the stock 8" sub so the bass from my dual 10" subs enter the cabin through the stock sub opening. Such a difference going from the stock 8" Bose subwoofer to the two 10" Alpine Type R subs.
