Quick thought: If someone were to take the hood vent from a type R to their normal 1.5T ride, (Would a hood swap straight up, or would they have to mod a normal hood to fit it?) would this airbox clear? The hood vent may become a popular mod for regular Civics, so I am curious. Keep up the awesome PRL mods!

I don't see why that would be an issue, the PRL intake box doesn't really stick up higher than the OEM box, maybe just a tad because of the cone shape? But hardly at all looking at pics of it installed, not to mention that is a bit off to the side and I don't think it would be in the way at all with the type R vent. And even so the intake is off more to the right hand side, so it should be a little over near the edge of the vent (something like the second pic I think)
