I would say the EK9 Type R was but you really can't go wrong with any Civic from the 90's. I'm looking forward to getting an 11th gen hatch!
sigh, One of the best ever. I had a 1999 Civic in Taffeta White and front end looked just like this, with dc2 championship white rims in 15 inch. Such memories~I would say the EK9 Type R was but you really can't go wrong with any Civic from the 90's. I'm looking forward to getting an 11th gen hatch!

Wow, if you were going to trade it, am Integra Type R is a damn good replacement lol.@VTEC, I had it for maybe 2 years? Boy did I 'rice' it out when I was much younger. I traded it in for a 2001 Acura Integra Type-R #0306 I believe. This was when I was in the service. sigh Good times!

Not only is that true getting the best of what a FF platform can offer but these days it can almost be an investment.Wow, if you were going to trade it, am Integra Type R is a damn good replacement lol.
90's Japanese cars increasing a lot in value is still a very new thing for most folks. And since it only really took off in the last couple years, there will be lots of opportunity in the future to sell for top dollar.Yeah well here's the kicker, I sold that integra in 2006 for 15 grand. Didn't a Type-R sell for 65k or 85k a year ago? Ugh... I'm such a fool. Oh well, I try not to think about it LOL
An absolute classic. You can't go wrong with the 6th gens they last forever.6th gen Civic Si is my favorite. It's always the first thing that comes to mind when I think of a Civic.

On the other hand, it reminds me of my 1981 Chevy Citation X11 hatchback, which actually was a cool car back then. Had a 'high output' V6 with 135 HP. It actually ran pretty strong and got 25 MPG which back then was very good. Mine was a beautiful dark cherry maroon and gold X11 decal on the side. Here's a white one to compare with the new Civic. Does anyone think there's a resemblence?View attachment 318
WHY did they have to make the 11th hatchback look like a friggin' stationwagon?!?! CMON..... sorry I need to calm down now
I see a bit of a resemblance. I hope the Civic hatch has a more sporty look to the back like this than what the Honda teaser photos have shown. On the other hand, it reminds me of my 1981 Chevy Citation X11 hatchback, which actually was a cool car back then.
