I own a 2022 civic sport with the 2.0 and am interested in deleting the muffler but am afraid that it may cause too much drone. I drive a lot of highway miles commuting to work. I’ve never done anything to the exhaust of my vehicles and am new to the idea. Im not looking for a super loud exhaust but just want a little bit more of a response from the car, making it more thrilling to listen to. Hahaha. I’ve heard that deleting the muffler or resonator may result in drone in the lower rpm’s

Can someone help a brother out with some personal experience deleting the 2.0?

You will defiantly get drone no matter what way you go unless you stay stock. Just wait and get an CAI so you can hear the swoosh from the turbo with no loud exhaust drone.
I’m ok with the drone as long as it wouldn’t be annoying on a road trip. I have the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine with no turbo unfortunately.
