It's not a great pic, but this is DEFINITELY not the sedan.

Would you see the lack of a bump in performance as a deal breaker with the Si?I was really hoping Honda would try and keep the civic top of the class for performance but seem to have opted instead for overall refinement and mature attitude rather than trying to stay top of class in performance. This also doesn't bode well for the eventual Si models; unless they get a more substantial power bump to make up for things, we could be looking at an Si model that is SLOWER than the 10th gen, causing it to slip even further down the bar from competition like the Veloster, Elantra N-Line, Forte GT, Mazda3 Turbo etc.
I'm not personally in the market for the Si because I don't want a manual (perfectly capable of driving one, no interest in daily commutes in traffic with one)... but the downgrade in performance for me personally is a deal breaker for the civic as a whole, and I suspect the Si will suffer the same issue unless given a substantial power bump, which I don't see Honda doing... The Type R may be the only one to keep or increase performance over the 10th gen.Would you see the lack of a bump in performance as a deal breaker with the Si?
Fair enough! A great thing about the 11th-generation Civic using the same powertrain as the 10th model is the availability of performance mods. So soon enough there should be a great selection of tunes available for 1.5T non-Si models.I'm not personally in the market for the Si because I don't want a manual (perfectly capable of driving one, no interest in daily commutes in traffic with one)... but the downgrade in performance for me personally is a deal breaker for the civic as a whole, and I suspect the Si will suffer the same issue unless given a substantial power bump, which I don't see Honda doing... And I totally get it, 90% of civic buyers don't care about 0-60 times. And yes... the Si and Type R exist to be quicker... both manual only, so I guess screw those of us that value performance and want to be lazy. I'll be patiently waiting to see what Acura does with the new compact sedan and holding onto my 10th gen coupe while I blow past 11th gens until something better comes along.
Yea... I hope they come out with more unique colors for the Si!Very happy about the sedan but THIS is what I'm waiting for! The color looks fantastic and I like the back as well.
I think that might be a photoshop job. They removed the guy, filled in the gaps... the pixelated look gives it away, as well as some of the details they couldn't quite get like the diffuser and the character line below the emblem as well as the shape of the plate surround. they also decided to fill in the center portion of the tail light, which is a brake light, not a tail light.
I'd seen it before a couple days ago. And it reminds me of a Kia Stinger at the rear. But I like it.It's not a great pic, but this is DEFINITELY not the sedan.
