Recently purchased 22 sport hatchback, my problem is when engine is running my key won’t unlock door. Turned on engine accidentally pressed door lock, with fob and key on my hands it completely locked me out. The car was running for almost 3 hrs. I know the fob is not suppose to work when engine is running but the key would not unlock door. Completely ruin my driver door trying to get in. Anybody had this problem been to dealership and have no answer.

This was written up for when the battery in the key fob is dead or dying, but it's still the same idea.
Unlock the Door
Most people don’t think to carry around a spare battery for their key fob. Fortunately, you can still unlock your door with a dead or dying key fob. On the back of the key fob, there’s a tab you can slide open. Once you have it opened, you’ll see a physical key. Pull the door handle and look behind it. You’ll see a spot where you can insert the key to unlock the door. Now you can get into your car the old-fashioned way: by putting a key into a lock and turning.
