The "official" way is to remove the front bumper to have access to the push nuts holding on the emblem. The unofficial and faster way is to use a trim tool to get fishing line or floss behind the emblem, without removing the front bumper.
In the case of the latter, the pins on the emblem may be left behind. Though that can quickly be solved using strong 3M molding tape. You'll just have to cut off the pins on the new emblem.

I just had a body shop do the install, since I was already there for something else.
