It's said that 13,500 miles is the average that motorists drive every year, or about 1,000 miles a month. It gets interesting when when you break it down by age, gender and other demographics. For example, males over 35 drive nearly 19,000 miles on average, the most of any group.

To see what those numbers are like for the Civic community, vote above and comment below with any related details you wish to include.

Kicking things off I'm a 28, male and put on 17,000-18,000 miles. 1/2 of it is work related and the rest is all regular things one would do in their own time.

I'm 30, male and pre-pandemic I was driving about 30,000km/year primarily to work and back (so ~18,500 miles). During the pandemic I've driven very little, mostly just once a week or so for errands and whatnot thanks to lockdown orders and all that fun stuff.

I'm 33, male. I do some driving for work, but mostly local. Not much of a traveler either so my cars are always way under miles... I've had my current civic a little over 2 years and just hit 16k so probably around 8,000-9,000 miles a year (of the 12,000 I'm allotted for my lease)
