If you look close, you can see my old car across the street, a green 1997 Honda Del Sol, which I sold to my neighbor. lol Since I live in the South, maybe I should have chosen "gloss black" which wouldn't soak up as much heat in this warm climate. Oh well, what's done ...is done.

I like it and I like black roof panels like that, looks good. I'm not so sure about that little Honda emblem on the hood though, better left for Jaguars and Rolls rather than Hondas, lol.
After I took my car into my Honda dealer to remove a nail in my tire, the head mechanic said my "hood ornament" was the talk of the entire shop that day. Now I'm not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing!:oops::cool:lol

Thanks for pointing that out. It has a 16-Valve DOHC VTEC engine. My bad (scrapes the "i-" off of the sticker). lol :rolleyes:

This is a joke right?
Why do you think this is funny? A lot of people tell me it looks great.  Look around this forum. I've seen people spend $30k+ on a new car and put pink seat covers in it. How about a black civic with aqua blue trim add-ons. What about all those who suddenly fell in love with "orange" just because Honda decided that was their choice for the new Civic Si? Then Honda had the audacity to put in "red" seats and "red" seat belts. (Ask any person with red hair how often they wear orange clothes?) To each his own I guess. The roof and hood ornament are what I want and they'll stay till my new color comes in - zebra stripes! :geek::geek::cool: bahahahaha

Needs rain guards and led valve stemp caps. Perhaps some more stickers, basically anything with 3m tape as an install.
Your sarcasm is noted. MrPP - you have a bike on the roof? Hello, you're driving a Honda not a Subaru. Do you also take the pet dogs with you?

Bike on roof > ornament on the hood. It’s a Civic, not a 1990s Mercedes
I have a fresh vinyl wrapped roof - no bike. The guy criticizing me is the one with the bike on his subaru ... oops....I mean Honda. He has a photo of a bike on his roof, so if he flips his car he can just pedal home with his dogs. lol
I’m aware. I’d rather ride bikes in tight pants with a guy named Mr PP than be seen within a mile of all that “freshness”
Play with Mr PP all you want; You have your opinion and I have mine. Who said anything about "tight pants"? Trust me you won't be seen any where near my car after that comment.

That car makes me want to sing karaoke time. 🎸 She don't know she's beautiful oh no no. She don't know she's beautiful whoa yahh ya ha her ha ha🫨. I like it the best when she wears nothing at all ! 🎶🎵 🤠 Nice rack 🥹.
You and MrPP should get a room. Park the bikes outside. LOL

Doing after thought, wish I had gone "gloss" black. Matte black tends to soak up the heat, which is great in the winter. haha

I think what others on here are alluding to is the fact that you have chosen "interesting" additions to your vehicle.
You can't expect not to get roasted over some of your choices, which include:

1) non-sanctioned (Honda) turbo decals on both sides
2) fake fender vents
3) the "Rolls Royce" Honda hood ornament
4) some strange badge in front of the side mirrors that no one has alluded to
5) the heartbeat decal on the gas filler door
6) c'mon, you couldn't have told the dealership not to slap on their logo on the rear?!

There was a saying years ago: that guy ordered everything off the (AutoZone) catalog.
I don't know where you're going, but please stop before it's too late.
Thanks for your feed back! I learned a few things:
- Don't tell anybody you drive a car with a "turbo" engine unless Honda gives you permission first. (Didn't know Honda sanctioned "stickers"....hmm?)
- Installing a Hood ornament on a car that costs less than $435K and is not a "Rolls Royce" is taboo even if it has an "H" for Honda and you're pretty much the only one in North America with it on your car (although thousands of others have purchased the same model car.)
- While this forum just loves to rage against dealers, my Dealership (East Coast Honda) is the Number One Honda Dealer on the U. S. east coast and treats me right as a customer. After contemplating removing it, I wanted to leave it on as a local "status symbol" for all the tourists that visit Myrtle Beach each year. P.S. Their sticker came in "black" - lol
- I admit the "fake fender vents", the strange badges in front of the side mirrors, and the "heartbeat" decal on the gas tank door are over the top - guilty as charged!
As to "please stop before it's too late" .... Baby I haven't even opened the hood yet! LMAO!!!!!

Oh man😅 well for what it's worth. You are definitely a car enthusiast. Make it your own that's what it's all about.🙂 I'm getting one of those ornaments😁. I actually collect them I've got some pretty cool ones.
the wrapped roof is nice, but it would have been a bit nicer with gloss black. What stuff can you possibly have under that hood? I’m a little curious 🤣
Can anybody tell me how to "gloss" it without "un-wrapping" it?
