It will look a bit dumb without a badge as there will still be the outline of the badge in the square.
That being said yes, plenty of us have and replaced with the black gloss OEMs. The H just has two pegs that press into holes on the grill, the cleanest way to remove it without breaking it is by taking the bumper off, if you attempt removing it with pry tools. floss, fishing line, etc from the front with the bumper on you'll have to go very slow and try and apply even pressure (it takes quite a bit) pulling it out
