With all the tech in these cars it's worth wile to spend some time leafing through the manual or scrolling through the PDF.

It will also show a little dot what your set speed is when using ACC or cruise.

 

The speed limit sign is the only thing I turned off in the car. Around here we have 20mph school zone signs with a yellow flashing light when it IS actually school zone time, but the speed limit thing would show a 20mph sign no matter what time it was. I understand why it was happening, and don't blame the car, but anyway it would trip me up for a couple secs so I shut it off.

 

I've had the occasional incident where mine will read 65mph as 85mph... I know better, but it's an amusing glitch.

 

Mine occasionally will pick up a Rt 30 sign when the limit is 50 mph

 

Driving around our local 35mph to 45mph roads, my husband's accord often says the speed limit is 70mph.

I haven't figured out yet what it's reading that it thinks is a big number 70! lol.

 

I haven't caught it yet in my Civic but with my Accord there was part of my morning commute where it would pick up a sign and tell me the limit was 90 MPH. 💀
