OK folks, it looks like we have a few Formula 1 fans on the site so I thought I'd start an overall discussion thread.

First race is Australia (Covid willing) on March 18-21st. That's just slightly more than two months away. Not long at all actually.

I can't wait!

Rumor has it Ricciardo is getting canned....

Rumors are only a continuation of what we’ve previously heard, such a terrific talent, such a terrific disappointment
i hope 2023 bottas / ricciardo pairing will be like 2014 williams ;)

Bottas is really shining this season, Rocco, not so much
The rumor mill is crazy this year.

I've heard

Schumacher out
Ricciardo out

Gasly to McLaren

Latifi out... he should be

Giovanazzi in
Oscar Piastri in

I can't keep up

So what did everyone think of the Canadian GP?
So what did everyone think of the Canadian GP?
Merc says porpoising is fixed ?
Red Bull says Ferrari is faster on straights
Ferrari says more fixes coming

I'm still confused 🤔

Yea, the last 15 laps were ok, but overall, just ok.

I don't think Carlos was going to hunt down Max. Could LeClerc have done it... quite possibly.
Is it just me or do you lose interest in watching when the car shows a high probability of slumping out? Looking at the rate of failure, there is a chance Russell will win the world championship just by finishing p4/p3 at every race (assuming 2 or more Ferraris + Red Bulls retire every race).
Its like watching a Russian roulette play out every week…

So many changes technical and otherwise this year, it sure seems like a loaded gun at every GP but lots more to come. Oh and so damned many instigators too, every drivers comments and track tactics are questioned.
So how big is F1 compared to a few years ago?

Check out this article:

ESPN just signed on to a multi year deal worth about $75 million per year.
Their current deal, signed back in 2019 was for $5 million per year!

Epic race at Silverstone. My goodness!!!

Those last laps with Sergio, LeClerc and Hamilton were something else.

And Max (sucks for Max today) really fought off Schumacher at the end.
Very impressed by how much safety has improved.
