No error codes for me. How did you wire it in? What codes did you get?
No error codes for me. How did you wire it in? What codes did you get?I just got fog lights installed. By any chance did you get any error codes?..I got 3!..🤦♂️
I decided to install fog lights on my 2022 Si and had heard good things on the forum about Mikstore. So I purchased the fog light kit and OEM turn signal stalk switch. I also added yellow Lamin-X to the lights because I like that look.

I removed the bumper just like other posts and videos show, installed the lights and ran the wiring. Mikstore told me how to attach the wires to the OEM stalk and everything works! Fogs turn on independent of the headlights but won't turn on unless the car is running.

I emailed Mikstore and they sent me a screenshot of some instructions that they have. I looked but I don't have it anymore. To get the stalk installed, from what I can remember, you pop the top cover of the steering wheel housing off and that exposes screws that hold the bottom half on. Then you run a wire from one of the wire terminals (I can't remember which one) to a switched power source. This makes it so that the fog lights only have power when the engine is on. You still use the fog light switch they provide, it is just always on and I buried it behind the steering wheel. Email them and they will send you instructions. Can you tell me how to wire the fog lights to the stalk switch? I have the Mikstore wiring harness and an actual Honda oem fog light stalk. I am doing this install Thursday but I don’t see a way to connect the stalk to the included fog light button.
Also how did you remove the plastic housing to replace the stall switch I don’t see any screws do I just pry it open?

I had to email them a couple of times to get a response. All of the wiring comes with the harness and that gets connected just like any other fog light harness setup. You do need to add one wire to go from the wiring harness of the stalk to a switched power source. Unless you want fog lights on without engine or ACC on. I literally jammed one end of the wire in the correct port of the harness and ran it to fuse 42 of the interior fuse box. The insulation of the wire made it a tight fit and I couldn't find a small enough pin connection for the stalk harness side. I used a add-a-circuit on fuse 42 for the other end.I emailed them but they haven’t gotten back to me… did the stalk come with extra wiring or was the wiring included in the fog light harness ? Do you remember how you connected it to the stalk switch? Did you need to add 1 additional wire to the factory harness that goes into stalk switch? Or did you need to splice wire from the switch included in fog light harness to the factory harness? Can you describe the process?

If you don't hear from Mikstore, let me know. I can go and take things apart and take pictures once the weather warms up.
2 separate wires. You install the harness and button as if you were going to use the button, one of the wires to the fuse box. You turn the button on and then hide it anyplace you want and never touch it again. So the wiring harness comes with one accessory wire that says it goes to fuse box. Am I purchasing extra wire to splice from the harness to the factory harness that plugs into the stalk. Or do I take that accessory wire and plug it into the stalk?
Or do I remove a wire from the button harness and add it into the stalk switch? Sorry just trying to have an idea before Thursday since they haven’t gotten back to me. I think ultimately I’ll have to do the install of just the fog lights and do the stalk switch another day.

The second wire is not provided. It goes from the same fuse as the button harness to the new stalk. I might be able to take things apart and post some pictures tomorrow if you are going to try and install on Thursday.
I look the steering wheel housing cover off and popped out the factory wiring harness:You been plenty of help dude. Don’t gotta go out of your way to do that if it’s inconvenient. So I’ll install as per usual then do an add a fuse tap so I can run 2 wires from the same fuse and find the correct slot to jam into factory harness that goes to stalk switch seems simple if I understand correctly

After looking at it, I think it goes like this for the lighting harness relay:
Power wire to battery and fog lights
Accessory wire to fuse 42
Ground to factory harness in picture. Strip the wire and jam it into the terminal in the picture
Turn on the supplied fog light switch and always leave it on. Hide it someplace where it won't accidentally get switched off. When you turn on the fog lights with the OEM stalk, it completes the circuit.
Sorry for any confusion, with all of the lights and stereo stuff I have done for my cars I get the exact process of each one mixed up sometimes.
Just pop it off. Move the steering wheel out and down to give some room. The top stays attached by the cloth thingy at the back.Im gonna swap that stalk into the car tonight since it seems so easy to test and make sure it works. The top plastic cover behind steering wheel I just use elbow grease to pop off? No special tricks?

Is there a youtube video on how to replace the oem stalk headlight switch from the regular 11th gen civic one to the one with the fog light switch on it like the touring model?I decided to install fog lights on my 2022 Si and had heard good things on the forum about Mikstore. I don't have the instructions anymore. I have looked everywhere for them. They were just a series of pictures that went through the steps. The stalk replacement is pretty easy. The wiring is the same as using the switch that comes with the kit. The only difference is connecting the ground wire to the correct slot in the stalk harness. Happy to give more detail than what is already outlined above.Hi, can you send me the wiring guide (diagram) from Mikstore you used to install your fog lights to the oem stalk switch? my email address is [email protected]
thank you!
Thank you. My installer is going to use his own wiring harness to connect my oem fog lights from Honda to the Touring model of the stalk with the fog light switch that is on there. What did the instructions they gave you show specifically to connect from the Si stalk to the stalk that has a fog light switch. Is there a way to connect it just by replacing the stalk and not having to keep the fog light one with the one they provide to be put in the blank cap piece?
