Hmmm... 7 to 8 over 55? 65? 75? I drive 5-10 over all the time and I'm averaging over 51 MPG... but I'm generally doing between 30-50MPH. Regardless, give it some time. You're mileage, as it has for others here, will most likely improve as things wear in (and the temps increase).

I agree to wait a bit Tailwagger but 7 over 75 part time cannot be compared or is relevant to 7 over 50 part time.

That was precisely my point. The post I replied to stated, "I do drive 7 to 8 miles over the speed limit on cruise control." I was simply pointing out that the result is not dependent on the amount over the speed limit but rather the average speed when doing so.

At about 3k miles mile on the clock now, the fuel economy keeps on ticking up. Latest tank logged 58.3 MPG over 465 miles measured at the pump. Pretty impressed.
