Part time detailer here, i detail cars on the side and here is what I will say...while ceramic coating is good, it is not worth it for the price you pay for it.

You can find a decent detailer who will detail your car for $75-$100 twice a year for three years for the max cost of no more than $600.

After three years, I will bet you $400 that you won't be able to tell the difference between a car that got a $1000 ceramic coat from a car which just got a basic detail twice a year during those three years.
