I just put my cars through the local touchless wash.

This wash method from a pro is what I plan on doing after getting paint protection done.

Normally I like to to go a coin op carwash and do it myself rather than going through an automated one. But when I do use an automated wash I make sure it's touchless.

usually i do the automated wash but with getting the new civic for some reason i have major worries about scratching the paint lol

If you're really concerned about the paint you might want to look at putting some PPF on your car.

I always wash by hand. Following the technique to avoid scratching. My current honda is 9 yrs old and the paint looks new, without any swirls. Google on how to do it.
