I'm at 1200 miles driven on my Civic Sport. During my last drive in stop-and-go traffic, I noticed that, while applying constant light brake pressure to stop, the car would 'lurch' forward slightly at around 15 mph, requiring me to increase brake pressure to keep a constant deceleration. I was driving in ECON mode and the effect felt similar to a down-shift (i.e. elimination of engine braking), but somewhat aggressive compared to what I would expect from a CVT.

Has anyone experienced this? I know Toyota has a separate 1st gear in their CVTs, but to my knowledge the Civic's CVT covers the entire RPM range. What could cause this behavior?
