I left home early this morning and drove 2+ hours to my destination, when I came out of the place I was visiting I found my gas cap door open. I am positive it was not open when I left home, and I did not fill up with gas in the last 2 days. It must have opened while driving today. I don't know if the gas cap is locked when driving ?
It was raining and I think the doors can unlock if you are near them with the fob and it is raining. I've heard of people having their gas cap doors open in car washes, though I wash my car every 1-2 days in auto car washes and it has never opened in a car wash for me. I know this was not a gas siphoning issue. Anyone ever find their gas cap door open ?
