Auto-lock is a setting you can turn on? Mine does it. I take the first beep-beep as a warning that it will lock the car if I walk further away.

Mine beeps once when I get out and beeps a second time when I walk away from it and I can hear it lock itself.. something doesn't seem to be working right with your car.

Yours is working correctly

 

Car beeps when you close the door, car beeps when you open the door, car beeps when it locks(lights flash too), car beeps to prevent accidentally locking the keyfob in the car. Beep, beep, beep. The goshdarn Roadrunner doesn't beep this much. Joking aside I honestly don't remember what it does anymore since I turned all that off a longgggg time ago. No more beeps and light flashes.

Now that I think of it, I bet it would work correctly if I turned off the Autolock.
