So I just did the 8.7.630264 a couple of days ago and noted nothing had changed. Tonight went for a drive and it looks like the beginning of the "Coolwalk" update is on it's way. Haven't seen the layout look like this before, and got the caption "Waze Dashboard support coming soon"....kind of neat but no split screen quite yet

Cool walk is a server side upgrade.

What I have noticed with 8.8 is that the startup system lag is a lot less now but I think that's just because the CPU of the head unit is trash

I use Google Maps. Waze doesn't do split screen yet. I don't really understand the usefulness of seeing your music on the screen when it's available in the instrument cluster, I would much rather have a weather forecast screen

Played around with it just now and yup, noticed Google Maps supports split screen and Waze soon fo follow. Because so many new cars show music, etc, on the clusters this is a bit much but I don't really mind it. Would be nice if down the road you can customize which Apps you can see on the split screen such as Weather

After seeing the 12" screen in the 2023 Accord Touring, I bet Honda will add that in the Civic Touring upon the model refresh. Also a new infotainment system would be nice

I have the full digital cluster, and i just hope we can view Maps on the dashboard as well.
