I have a 2.0 naturally aspirated Honda Civic with a CVT transmission and it’s horrible. I know there’s the optional for manual but I can’t be daily a manual. So I wanted to ask, has anyone tried to do an automatic transmission swap? And if so, it does it matter what type of automatic transmission it is. (6 or 5 speed) Because I was thinking of the 10 speed transmission.

I wouldn't suggest an auto swap at all. If you hate how th cvt feels and the car is still new, either trade it in or sell it. I personally think with some tuning that the cvts can feel really fun around the 30-80mph range.
As for anyone who's done it, no. I think there mightve been someone on the 10th gen forum who's gone to manual, but I believe they've done it incorrectly/lost a lot of function.
Try to enjoy the car for what it is.
