22 Si Voice recognition coming on automatically

I have a 22 Si with 15k and an iPhone14. The voice recognition comes on and lowers my climate control like it’s listening for a command even though I didn’t push the button on the wheel. Anybody else experience this. I started on my other iPhone, I upgraded to the 14 and it’s still happening. To cancel out, I have to hit the voice recognition button then cancel.

Are you talking when it activates? Sometimes mine will do that as well when it thinks I say "Hey Google" or something that sounds just like it.

It seemingly happens out of the blue…

You can disable Siri from listening, or disable it completely. You can also change Siri to respond to something else rather then "Hey Siri" as I know from experience that it can trigger when you're not even referring to it.

This has been happening to me very frequently the past few weeks or so. I'm wondering if it's an updated app on the phone that's causing this new unwanted behavior.

VR via your iPhone can control the climate (as through Siri/CarPlay)? I didn't know that.

Maybe your car is just haunted and when you feel it suddenly get colder, it's... A Presence.

Haunted 💯 like that Grudge movie. 😬 I'd call the Ghostbusters😀

Disconnected Siri through settings in the car and made sure software was up to date. Still the same issue.

Could be an issue with the steering wheel button. May need to take it to Honda.
