He just set it up online and made his 1st payment of 60 and they are $420.00 through Honda @5.99
He gave them his 2015 Forrester (100000 miles and a littte rough) and they appeared to give him $8500 for it... i need to look at the sticker but i remember it being below the MSRP and dont remember any extras... he did pay the $1400.00 (at my insistence) for the 8 year HondaCare out of his pocket up front though... oh and the wonderful state of WV charges an extra $100 to register a hybrid, double that for a full EV...

Okay Civic Community, I know that there are a lot of folks, like me, trying to make a purchase and we’re constantly looking to see what everyone else has paid.

Over at the Piloteers thread, we have this thread that is extremely helpful as a one-stop-shop, so that people don’t always have to ask the question over and over again. I’m surprised a thread like this isn’t already going.

Anyway, if you purchased the 2025 Hybrid Civic - please post the trim (sport or sport touring), any other details of add-ons and of course the price you paid for vehicle. Please include:
  • Purchase Price
  • Taxes & Doc Fees
  • Final Out-the-Door Price
  • Where you purchased the vehicle (state)

At the very least, just share the OTD and let’s limit the convo replies. Thanks All!
2025 Civic Hatchback Hybrid Sport Touring. Silver with Black interior. MSRP was $32,950. Add $1,095 for destination and handling for a total price of $34,045. Dealer admin fee was $587. Dealer discount was $2,013. OTD $32,619. Sales tax will be paid later. Looks like I may have been able to get up to another $1,000 off. Maybe. Or maybe not 😉. Live in the St Louis area. Bought in Columbia MO.

You did just fine. Enjoy the car!

You might not consider those add-ons "as part of the vehicle price you negotiated", but they should definitely be included. Those "protection packages" are pure dealer profit and have little to no value.

"Selling Price" is the total amount you paid the dealership, including all add-ons and doc fees.

State-mandated fees (such as sales tax, title, ect.) and OTD prices are not needed on a nationwide forum like this, because those fees are mandatory/unavoidable and vary wildly depending on where you live.
so everyone who financed should include the final price that is actually paid through the life of the loan?

yes...also provide your net worth
your debts
your assets
lastly a full body scan...because what's the point if you are going to die tomorrow?!?

Hello all,

Anyone getting pricing lately in the Chicagoland or Midwest area for 2025s? I haven’t walked into any dealerships yet but for hybrid sports I am getting around $1000 below MSRP in emails. There’s one that offered $27495 for a regular color, that’s about $2350 off. How likely will it be that I’ll get a better pricing if I walk in?

Also there’s one dealership that’s offering 0% APR on one of these cars. I confirmed with two different people at that dealership. You think they’ll bump up the price to make up for the difference between 0% and 4.9%? I know it’s two different entities (dealership vs American Honda financing) so has anyone gone this route with any dealers?

Thanks.

Both Napleton Hondas Oak Lawn and River Oaks offered to beat it by a few hundred less but they don't have the colors I want.

All of the above was done thru email and text in less than a week, and finalized Wednesday. Don't ever do negotiations at the dealership.

$1700 to $1900 off MSRP on Sport Touring Sedan, $900 off Sport Sedan. $2000 off Sport Touring Hatchback, $1400 off Sport Hatchback. Beware sneaky backend additional equipment and fees. Every Honda dealer I've contacted had them. A few were willing to drop them to get a sale. Some of the dealers included military, college, conquest rebates in advertised discounts and they were NOT upfront to disclose.
Many dealerships are under construction to meet Honda requirements. These dealers were more aggressive in their pricing. I'm wondering if Honda is incentivizing sales during construction.

Discounts on the hatchbacks were much more difficult to find.
I sampled a large area. From Wisconsin to Illinois to Indiana to Michigan and Ohio.

McGrath Honda of Saint Charles advertised $1500 under Invoice Black Friday sale and $100 for package of all weather mats, wheel locks, splash guards. I did not contact them and have no experience with them. Don't know if they are sneaky or legit.

Thank you so much! I’m between Schaumburg Honda, Morton Grove and maybe St Charles Honda. They all keep asking me to come in but not in this weather. And Schaumburg has lots of Civics on the lot so I’m thinking I have more negotiating power.

Can I ask what color is your car? Edit: I just saw its black. Did you finance the cost or was it cash?

They emailed me the $27,740 deal which I used to get the same price from Schaumburg.

I visited Honda of Falls Church VA and I offered $13,333.00 for a 2025 HYBRID CIVIC SPORT TOURING. It had $599.00 options I did not care for, splash guards, wheel locks, trunk mat. They insisted at $14,700.00. Manufactured NOV 2024. I walked.
I visited Chantilly Honda, they had the same car that just arrived less than 24 hours manufactured JAN 2025 with 6 miles on it, the best I can do was $13750.00 I grabbed it and drove off. I was impressed with the dealership, haggle free, smooth operation, very clean place and wonderful staff, if I ever need another I will definitely go back even on a higher price, they deserve it.

Do you mean $33k etc? And are these out the door prices? If you paid $34k for a Touring sale price that’s high.
