Honda hasn't forgotten the Civic's sporty nature because the Prototype has a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports on.
The tires are measured at 235/35ZR19

Yeah me too. Funny enough, I saw the Subaru BRZ reveal this morning and they had Pilot Sport 4S' on the car.I'm surprised Honda chose the Super Sport rather than the Pilot Sport 4S
the dealer closest to me offers these tires for the Civic Sedan, hatchback, and Type R. I imagine they're going to be similar for the 11th gen Civics. So on the Civic sedan there's going to be three wheel options to choose from. I've never been a fan of the standard tires Honda uses on the Civic, which brands do you guys like to use?
- Civic sedan LX: 16-in. steel with full covers and 215/55R16 93H tires
- Civic sedan Sport: 18-in. Berlina Black alloys and 235/40R18 91W tires
- Civic sedan EX: 17-in. alloys with Berlina Black inserts and 215/50R17 91H tires
- Cvic sedan Touring: 18-in. alloys with Shark Gray inserts and 235/40R18 91W
I love Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S + so whatever it comes with I’ll swap out for those unless the factory offers some good Michelin’s.So on the Civic sedan there's going to be three wheel options to choose from. I haven't used those before but I've heard good things from friends. Do you normally go with Yokohama with your cars?I love Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S + so whatever it comes with I’ll swap out for those unless the factory offers some good Michelin’s.
For a while I have but the Michelin Pilot sport A/S + 3 has been peaking my interest. What I love most about the Advan tyres is the ride comfort at that performance levelI haven't used those before but I've heard good things from friends. Do you normally go with Yokohama with your cars?
Yokos are a great deal generally too.For a while I have but the Michelin Pilot sport A/S + 3 has been peaking my interest. What I love most about the Advan tyres is the ride comfort at that performance level
Michelin has been my go to and at this point It's hard for me to switch to others lol. My brother has been running Toyo Proxes Sport A/S and he really enjoys them on his Civic.Yokos are a great deal generally too.
Still, I always feel like the safe choice is Michelin.
Pilot Sport All Season 4
Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS is probably good too. I've run Bridgestones before but never loved them in the wet.
