This is so sad and infuriating. Someone on Reddit shared this photo of their civic put on blocks with their wheels stolen.

That's why I put ,unstealable wheel locks .
And no you can't break em with another socket like they more than likely did here.
Oh and btw for those that rely on Honda wheel locks,it's not that hard to know someone at the dealer that will loan you a master set of the wheel locks. When I needed some tires while in Vegas,I went to the dealer to see how long it would take to order a spare wheel lock key. They were kind enough to loan me the key to unlock my locks........
Stock locks aren't all that great as it's been proven they're easy to crack off with a bigger socket.
Get unstealable lug locks and you're good.
If you feel like it's too much money for em,don't complain if they steal your wheels.

Doubtful. Nothing to grab. You'd have to cut the wheels off.

Donut just did a video on wheel locks. They were are all able to take each kind off. Obviously varying degrees of difficulty (and time) with each one... but if it's a deterrent, I want it. Increases the chances of someone getting caught.

Rimgard wheel lock for Honda /4-pack – Rimgard® (Int)

Check these out. I saw these first on an Accord. They look pretty sturdy.

Could they get these off..........I mean technically by cutting the wheels off you could get these off. But wouldn't that defeat the purpose of them stealing the wheels🤔🤣
On a side note ,not to mock donut for trying to remove these....... however what I'm referencing is using these in our stock wheels. NOT the enkeis they used.
You can't get a bolt extractor in the lug barrel that would remove these lug nuts.
So can these be removed from some wheels ,yes........can they removed off our wheels (22 SI) no. Not without major major wheel damage.

I thought stealing wheels like that was so old school, I mean who has the time to do that out in public like that, is that like the worst neighbourhood in the US ? lol. Something I've seen in downtown Detroit, but that is about it.

I see lots of young people, in old modified Civics, slowing down in front of my driveway since I got my new SI, to admire, observe... to check... uh...

Yep after my previous car got stolen, this time I decided to put in shock sensor on the car plus the advanced wheel locks on. IMO, I recommend the shock sensor because once they are trying to bang on the sockets on the tire, the alarm will ring. It also applies to windows or any any part of the car.

Where the stolen wheels aftermarket? I don't see why anyone would steal any of the stock ones. I mean they are pretty nice, but..... I wouldn't steal them. High end expensive rims, maybe?

Money is money. I don't think anyone willing to steal rims cares if they're stock or not. But the place I took my car to get windows tinted thought the rims were aftermarket. Lol. So I'd suggest they're pretty nice rims.

The stock wheels I believe are like $400 each, $1600 in total. Very pricey for these 18" wheels. Lots of thieves love to steal Honda's wheels. Look at the Accord's Sport wheels, they are stolen very often.
