This is some pretty exciting news, it seems like the 2022 Civic will be built in the US! Matt Sloustcher, the head of PR at American Honda tweeted that the next-gen Civic hatch will be built in Indiana rather than continuing in the UK.

I really hope so, if not at the very least it will make them more accessible to buy.

Honda confirmed in their press release that they are going to build the Civic hatchback at the Greensburg, Indiana plant. But once again they didn't say anything about the Type R.
