I have a new 24 Civic SP TRG Hatchback. I traded in my 18 Civic that used the cable for Android Auto, etc. HL worked with my 18 fairly well....sometimes it wouldn't update stats but it didnt have much to give so I didn't care. Now with my 24 I want to use the remote start, location finding, etc. I have remote start on the fob I know. With BT setup on my Samsung S24+ the car says you can do either phone/music OR Android Auto. I use AA all the time so thats my default. Reading the manual it says that you can't use HL with BT and AA. That doesn't make sense....it's poor. When I have AA running I get calls, can pay Apple Music thru AA just fine.

No matter what I do with BT (set it to phone/music only OR AA) I can't get it to connect to the app. When I click on the HL icon on the display screen menu it says the phone disconnected which makes no sense because my BT is connected to the car.
I've tried everything and very frustrated. Before wasting time calling tech support...just seeing if anyone with my car and phone (or close enough) had same issues and got this to work. I even tried the USB cable, like I had to did on my old 18.....no luck.
